Job Location:VTC/ AV Facilitator/Operator (Onsite) - Ft. Eustis, VA Functional Responsibilities • Facilitates and operates VTC/AV conferences. • Responsible for starting and powering off all VTC /AV equipment for sessions and conducting audio visual checks prior to each conference. • Serves as primary AV equipment operator for VTC conferences. • Coordinates and implements scheduling, recording and teleconferencing sessions as required. • Serves as initial responder to customer requests regarding VTC/AV issues. • Schedules rooms via email, phone or walk in requests. Minimum, Education, Certification, Experience • High school diploma. • Cisco Video Network Specialist, Polycom Certified Videoconferencing Engineer (PCVE) or Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) or equivalent training and experience with 2 years of technical experience in a similar VTC environment. • Competence with MS Office products • Secret clearance.

Job Description: Engineer will build out all Audio Visual (AV), Physical Security (PS), and IT components for an Auditorium, located on in Southeast DC. The requirements include components for a main auditorium with balcony level for presentations and cabinet level press briefings, a master control room, (4) conference rooms, including one room outfitted as a video production studio for executive-level interviews, outdoor media standup locations and a satellite truck connectivity location. Job Responsibilities: • Perform initial site survey to evaluate the acoustics of the spaces. • Design a complete working audio system that meets (or exceeds) the specifications defined in the bridging/RTM/system requirements documents. • Prepare a complete List of Materials (LOM) for the audio systems based on the bridging/RTM/system requirements documents and the acoustics of the spaces. • Provide the AV Team with system drawings to support their design. These drawings are to be in AutoCAD or Revit format. • Provide mounting details for all audio system devices that will be installed in the customer spaces. • Provide audio flow diagrams and wiring details for any non-standard connection types. • Provide “as-built” drawing support. • Provide technical support to the AV Team as it relates to the design and integration of the audio systems. • The Audio and Acoustical Engineer shall be responsible for commissioning of all audio related devices. • The Audio and Acoustical Engineer shall align the audio systems based on best practices for optimum performance. • The Audio and Acoustical Engineer shall provide testing documentation to prove the audio system is aligned properly and operating at optimum performance. Education/Certifications: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience. Experience: • Must have 10 years of experience of demonstrated results in the field of Audio and Acoustical Engineer • Engineer shall have extensive experience with audio systems to include designing, testing and integrating state of the art systems for many different types of facilities. Auditoriums, classrooms, churches, video recording facilities, conference rooms, etc. • Experience with audio systems associated with TV studios is extremely beneficial. • Experience with HVAC system noise control including NC level measurements. • Working knowledge of architectural acoustical finishes and how to utilize them to correct RT60 spectrum issues. • Hands-on experience as a sound system operator or technical director for televised or live events.
